on a piece like this where do you start??? shape of head? eyes?

In begin, I define composition. I start from shape of head and neck. After, I paint help lines as eye's line, cheekbones, direction of horns and other. Late I draw basic shadows and lights. When it is done I draw details and define more exactly shadows.
If you want I can paint it. *I'm hope that I wrote it correctly*
