Oh yes, the new trailers out, and since the day of it's release I've been working on this piece. It's been done in a similar style to my previous piece (Superman Returns) although isn't really as good for a few obvious reasons (the background, which needed to be blurred out like that).

Both Spidermen were done with Vectors, and that includes the webbing on the costume. I did the black one first and that came out fine, but then, when it came to doing the normal Spider-man, I found that there was a hell of a lot of webbing on that side which would have taken way too long to do in vectors, so instead, I simply painted it in with Brushes. And waddaya know? It looked crap. Well, that's not true, if I were going for a more realistic looking spiderman, it would have been perfect, but it wasn't inkeeping with the style of the piece and in the end I had to go back and actually do all of the webbing in vectors, which was difficult, but got there in the end.
