Freddy isn't your normal protagonist. He has good intentions, but prefers to take DEADLY measures. His big reason for fighting Baby is that she KILLED his mother, Dianna Connors. Dianna Connors, known as Spirit Heart, was the FORMER Grand CPU of Metalatious. Freddy was the next in line, after the two were reborn in the Hyperdimension.

Okay I'll tell ya. Remember ..... episodes 3 - 5 of the Neptunia anime? I HATED THEM SO MUCH THAT I REFUSE TO WATCH THE ANIME ANYMORE.
Well, if I make the Scraptunia timeline main game, I'm bringing it back!
ONLY SO FREDDY CAN INSULT IT AND ENACT RAGE FILLED REVENGE.
Arfoire managed to discover one of Freddy's few weaknesses and manages to dismantle him. He automatically reconstructs after about an hour, which gives her just enough time to trap ALL of the CPUs and nearly kill them again... But Freddy pops up in the nick of time.
In the Neptunia anime, Nepgear and the other Candidates defeat Arfoire and rescue the CPUs, as the villain escapes.
But in Scraptunia, that doesn't happen the same way. This time, Freddy has to save LITERALLY EVERYBODY. By this point in the timeline, he's had enough BS to endure, and now sees no point in simply defeating or destroying an enemy.
He has decided that the only way to solve such drastic moments it with MURDER.
This is when he emits a dark purple aura as he launches at Arfoire and swallows her, inevitably murdering the evildoer, effectively ending her life.
This is where the game would take a turn for the worst, as the final battle against Scrap Baby draws oh so near, and all the delight completely dies down. It's time to settle the fate of all space and time........
