As an extension of “Starship Troopers” and the interstellar battle between the Terran Federation (humans) against the Arachnid Empire (bugs) I present the concept of:
The "Jungle Spider" is a giant hunting arachnid that inhabits the tropical jungle moon of "Tesca Nemerosa" near the orbit of a gaseous planet called "Tesca 4"; The moon has a size similar to the earth being inhabited by various forms of wildlife that the arachnids capture as the main source of food for their growing galactic Empire for this reason "SICON" carried out an invasion operation to cut off the supply and kill starve the bugs in the sector. 🕷🕸
The "Tesca" campaign had various challenges when facing eight-eyed arachnids adapted to the jungle environment that move with great jumps between the branches of the trees, with a hybrid appearance between crab and spider, the chitinous armor made them resistant to a large amount of shots before being shot down; another terrifying quality was the use of webs to capture and set traps where the gagged victims were taken alive to their underground nests for later consumption (including human soldiers of the confederacy). 😨
In combat “SICON” (Strategically Integrated Coalition of Nations) recommends keeping distance and fire cover to avoid direct confrontation with the jungle spider that seeks to get closer to stab the eyes and soft abdomen of its human enemy with its fangs. 😦
