Yeah it is pretty bad, what endings those three had.
And nobody actually remembers them, it seems...

I am unfamiliar with the meaning of the Term Villain of the Piece. I keep wanting to think Peace when I read it, but I am sure that it is not a mistake when it says "Piece." Could you explain it for me?
Also who is this, Scootaloo? Why a dashite brand if it is her? or wait, she died after the bombs fell and became the first branded dashite and died in the cabin, Calamity's cabin right? I am doing a reread of the Original story, but I kow it does not happen for a time.

"villain of the piece" is an idiom that refers to the main antagonist of a play. Basically, Scoots is saying that she's willing to take the blame for all of Stable-Tec's experimenting.
You're right. She's the first Dashite -- and this picture is set after that.

The [Grimdark] Tag was well applied in the story. Lot's of misery and such. I say it made it all the more of a read I couldn't put down. Great Job Shytalon!

I want to give her a hug, although she would be all... who are you and why are you trying to hug me?
