"That red lamp at the corner of the room. There's something about it... that seems off. I couldn't stop staring at it. It's geometry... like there's something wrong with its geometry. Its proportions and dimensions is just... wrong. No matter how hard I try I can't process what is I'm seeing. It's like I'm staring at something that shouldn't exist in our reality."
Just visualizing something peculiar and odd that I read in a Reddit post a couple of years back. It came randomly to me while pondering about the next piece I should make. It's about someone describing their experience after taking LSD. For some reason he kept alluding to a red lamp that he just couldn't stop staring at. Like something was not right with it. Somehow I found it a bit uncanny and eerie, disturbing even. Anyway it fits well for my Dark series.

It only gets truly disturbing when the geometry begins to change.

Honestly I'm not surprised, when the same thing about Off-Geometry is used by H. P. Lovecraft when describing the sunken city of R'lyeh, in "The Call of Cthulhu". It really applies an essence of foreign nature that's disturbing in and of itself.
