Long time no update!

I did a lot of thinking, and admittedly not much painting, and decided to go in a different direction with Copernicus, style wise. I felt like the black and white set an almost overbearing somber mood, and even though the subject matter gets dark, that's not the only kind of emotion I want to evoke. Black and white also felt like it was stagnating the growth that I was looking for in the first place when I began Copernicus--so it's going to be in color now!

I'm also going to start posting in a longer format, but on a bi-monthly or even once monthly basis--it'll depend on classes, and also my mood. The story will flow better and I'll have more time in between to plan everything, as color slows me down quite a lot.

Finally, thanks so much to those that still remember Copernicus exists. orz

I've always posted based on wanting to post for myself, and the quality should be better that way, even if, unfortunately, the consistency of the schedule will suffer--but having encouragement from viewers makes me really happy, too! Art has kept me sane through some pretty difficult schedules in the past. Thanks for reading, guys. You da best!
