Description During my stay in Iceland, I had the enormous luck to see not just one but two of Iceland’s most elusive creatures. Most people go on their entire lives without even knowing these animals exist…
Both encounters were extremely short and I only saw them from a distance so the scientific accuracy is not guaranteed.

Yeah, it’s essentially the original grumpy cat (although it is believed to be a hybrid between dogs and cats)… so grumpy in fact, that it can kill with merely its gaze

YOU SAW A CRYPTID BRO THAT'S SO FLIPPIN SWOOD
Seriously, good on ya! I've seen my fair share of cryptids (including routine sightings of a chupacabra and getting assaulted by a pterosaur), but the fact that you got sketches is pretty neat.

Which kind of chupacabra? The spiny reptilian or the canine one?

Spiny canine. Scared the living fuck out of me.
My house sits directly on the edge of a large tract of Florida wilderness, with only a tiny pond and the pool deck to separate us.
It was dark out and hot as hell that night, and for an arbitrary reason, I walked out into the pool area (which is enclosed by a thing called a 'birdcage'). As I looked into the blackness of the woods beyond the pond, I saw two pinpoints of red-orange light, moving like they were attached to something. I shut the house lights off so I could see better, and lo and behold, there was a large-ish, canine shape prowling about just on the other side of the pond. it was dark, so I couldn't make out details, but I did see what looked to be some very wicked spines coming out of its back. Then the creature turned towards me, let out an inhuman, growling screech (almost like something a dinosaur would have made) and took off.

Now that’s quite interesting, I have not yet heard many accounts of spiny canine chupacabras…
