I'm not a believer.I'm not a nationalist.
But I'm a Notre Dame lover.
It's not only a part of France History, but a part of Humanity.
Nothing is eternal...
But the Lady will rise again !

Now, I'm just angry about the "after fire" of Notre Dame : Charity by Super-SJW

To be honest, I'm not a believer ant more an history lover, the whole cathedral was important to me, more than relics. But I can totally understand the importance of the Christ crown !

Well, I am a believer, and when non believers ignore all the “lesser” Churches getting desecrated by the hundreds, why should you or anyone be surprised when the vandals are emboldened by that indifference to finally attack the ones you DO care about?
I don’t fundamentally distinguish between defending the Eucharist in an architectural wonder of the world, or in a €100 shack of a tiny chapel, my first priority is to defend the Body of Christ, then defend holy ground. Only after those considerations would I prioritize which of the structures themselves, at which point I would say, of course, Notre Dame First.

But for me, every piece of our History needs to be saved, not only Notre Dame.
Just, for us, frenchies, this cathedral is a big symbol, to see it on fire is kinda heartbreaking.

Have you ever heard of graphic novelist Gene Luen Yang? He wrote parallel stories together called “Boxers And Saints”. Two French Characters play an important role in the course of that tragic story. This does make me think of a weak spot in the Western style of Eucharistic adoration. The Orthodox ALWAYS eat every last Crumb, to keep It safe from any potential desecration, including accident. I’m beginning to think this is a much wiser attitude.

Sad news. It's pain for me when a beautiful building get damage. But this case is not so awful because there are money and society for which the cathedral is important. Notre Dame will be reconstructed and rise again.

Malheureusement, ce qui devait être quelque chose de bon devient quelque chose de médiatique, voir de malsain. Entre ceux qui gueulent à cause de la collecte parce que "GNGNGN Vous donnez pour un bloc de pierres alors qu'il y en a qui meurent dans la rue !" (j'suis presque sûre que ce sont les mêmes qui ne donnent pas un copec pour ces mêmes SDF), et les grosses fortunes qui, par le biais du St Esprit (c'est le cas de le dire LOL) trouvent l'argent pour financer la reconstruction, juste pour se faire mousser auprès du président et obtenir une réduction de leurs "impôts" (LOL) ... Au final ça fout le bourdon à tout le monde qui se divise au lieu de se soutenir.
