We're studying the French Baroque period in my art history class, and I decided to do a little homage to the Portrait of Louis XIV by Hyacinthe Rigaud ( [link] ) with Opal. Cus he's a pompous prick like that. You can bet he's got this hanging up somewhere in his mansion.See, I get inspiration from school!

And I thought Opal couldn't get any fancier looking...proven wrong again I must say. Now I can easily picture him trotting around like this for some reason...it is a wonderful portrait of him...the detail is absolutely amazing, I can't even begin to figure out how long it took to get all the little folds in the cape and all the feather colors...the shading is brilliant
so pompous XD and fabulous, very Opal indeed!
