An older commission for hidaHida loves noodles, so he thought he'd sneak a taste of mine... but it looks like he's not going to get away with that so easy!
Done with acrylic paints on 9"x12" illustration board.

Nice work, love the expression, Hida's expression definitely shows her delight, the ear movement does add to the idea, even the glint in the eyes, fine example of displaying emotion. Nice cultural touches across the entire piece, from the food, bowls, drinks, furniture and attires, it does cement the background of the characters and the surroundings, a nice touch. Fine attention to textures, nice style.
Very well done, looking to more.

Oh wow! This reminds me so much of my two year stint over in Okinawa. Soup bowl bigger than your head and the annoying marble in the soda drink that tastes like Sprite or 7up. =+D
I can almost smell the soup and the imagine the taste of the fish sausage!
