Description
Those who have been watching my art for a long time (or remember the last iteration of my website) may recognize this character.Her name is Current, and she's a small cybernetic felinoid - meant to be a personal assistant, with an artificial intelligence, data storage capacity and audio playback... and probably a few other things. I've done redesigns of the character throughout time - at first she had an AC plug at the end of her tail, which was later upgraded to USB, which I've kept. Also since her last iteration, I've given her SD card slots and a headphone jack. The controls on her forearms are for her own use for adjusting her settings and whatnot.. as they would be too tiny for the user to interface with.
It was fun to draw her again...
I'm thinking about revisiting more of my old characters.The art was done with Pentel brushpen, micron pen, copic markers, acrylic paints and gel pen on 9"x12" bristol board.

I wish I had as user friendly a PDA as her (PFA? Personal Furry Assistant?). She could lounge on top of my computer with the USB ports and play Portal 2 co-op with me! XD

Neat, i remember Polecat doing something similar which inspired my data gerbil, actually it inspired a whole race, but they have a petrabit (or should that be petrabyte? What's the current high standard?) ethernet connector. Still, love this character, its so rare to see this.

I remember seeing this character way back when on your website (when I commissioned Maero all that time ago), and I loved it. It's a nice way to 'update' the character to keep it... modern. X3
