Do-272C is MALE class UAV which is the most advanced development of Do-272-series od drones. It is capable of operations up to 45h and up to 10.5km in altitude. It can carry wide range of equipment including always mounted FLIR sensor, carious radar systems, COMINT and ELINT systems, as well as bombs and missiles with max total weight of 300kg mounted under total of 4 pylons (2 under each wing). Do-272C navigates using internal GPS, with either pre-programmed flight profile manual override from CGCS BDK-27A, or a combination of both. It have autonomous take-off and landing capability and can autonomously return to base when communication with GCS is lost. Thanks to standardized FLIR system it is also capable of target acquisition and artillery adjustments.
Sensors on-board communicate with the GCS in real time, using either direct LOS data-link or via airborne/satellite relay. Similarly to navigation systems, sensors can also be used in pre-programmed autonomous mode, manual real-time remote operations, or a combination of both. Communication range for LOS is 300km while for satellite link is 1000km.
Compared to previous versions, Do-272C features several major improvements which allow it so remain in air for slightly longer as well as carry 50kg more load.
Do-272-series drones entered service in Luftwaffe early 2027. Later on they were also acquired by BMfS for Küstenwache and internal operations.

Presented Do-272C belongs to Aufklärungsdrohnengeschwader 304 and have tactical number "018". This drone is equipped compact ELK-7065 COMINT system and PrecISR 1000 radar from HENSOLDT. This particular drone has entered service in October 2035 and was used over Spain. In 2038 it was transferred to Spanish Air Force along with 7 other drones.
