Don't let the top middle picture deceive you: This Unicron is the creation of Lord Bagan, and answers only to HIM. I merely put Bagan in front of IDW 'cron because I wanted to symbolize the sort of symbiosis the two have with each other. Because let me tell you right now: even though the beast is named Unicron, his world-mode is none-other than the realm of Tenebris. The very world Lord Bagan made the seat of his empire - now an instrument of unlimited destruction he can use to harvest entire world's hearts. Of course, the thing about them is that both of them are connected, in the sense that Bagan is Unicron's heart. The source of his very existence, and life. And if the Dark Lord dies, then Unicron's demise is assured. Like The One Ring, and Sauron, but in a much more diverse way, given the complexity of the means by which Bagan can be destroyed.

But enough about him, alone: let's get to explaining this whole chart thing.

As you can see, there are at least 3 different groups in this page, to differentiate things. Specifically what type of followers serve under Lord Bagan. They come in 3 exact, distinct categories, which act as the means of dominating entire worlds. After all, this IS The Shadow of Evil we're talking about. First of is:

Lord Bagan (Apocalypse)
The undisputed and unmatched ruler of The Shadow of Evil, and the obviously mightier of the group. Given the fact he's pretty much a fallen Cherub/Seraphim of "Heaven", it says alot for his might. Especially given that his strength, lost when he fell from grace, was replaced by the powers of the True Darkness, making him even stronger than before. Years after his release, and resurrection, he created the massive monster world, Unicron, to serve as his base, and ultimate weapon. Basically, the Death Star with a mouth. And when Hooks up to Unicron's system, he gives him the ability to transform into a planet-sized devil robot. With these two fueling each other with unlimited strength, The Dark Lord is all but invincible within the godly monolith of chaos.

Then we have to his left, and right:

The Constructs of Darkness:
1. Yapool (with a mask beside him)
2. Shin Gojira
3. Slattern (The matriarch of the Antilocks)

These are the guys who are undisputedly loyal to Bagan because he made them himself - that usually involves the instillment of undying loyalty. These 3 are definitely as powerful as they are imposing. Yet, there's another group who probably makes them look tame in comparison.

The Horsemen of the Dark Apocalypse:
1. Tirek, The Horseman of War
2. Throgmor, The Horseman of Famine
3. Ra'Kash Ter'Aga/Apocalypse, The Horseman of Pestilence
4. IDW Bludgeon, The Horseman of Death

While he has certainly known of earth's religious concepts, and held intrigue for them, it was the finding of Apocalypse, and peering into his memories that finally made him make up his mind. To such an end, he found four individuals of unique strength, and powers to serve as his Heralds of Doom, and his personal guard, of sorts. Most of them were kinda strong-armed into serving him, because of their own egoist natures preventing them from being serving any but themselves - with Throgmor being the only exception. But a quick display of his power, and a devilish bargain of power swayed them to his side. In order to make them the perfect warrior guards to stand by his side, he gave them new powers to make them strong...which came from fragments of his own heart: Tirek became a Hellspawn who could draw on his own rage to give him strength, and feed on the mana of all living things. Throgmor's power over Shadows and Flame was enhanced tenfold, making him the perfect warrior of Darkness. Apocalypse was restored to his former glory, with the notable difference being that he held the kaiju, Armageddon, eternally prisoner within his own body. And Bludgeon was physically enhanced to the supposed next stage of Cybertronian Evolution, making him an even more deadly warrior. And all four of them live up to their titles, and have single-handedly brought ruin to entire worlds either seperately - or on their own. Yet while they were the most indicisive followers.......the next group are the ones who willingly follow The Dark One for his promises of power, and sharing in his philosophies of Humanity, and the Universe.

The Avatars of Darkness:

3. Belial
4. Vastato
5. Orga
6. Necrotherius
7. Claudandus
8. The Queen Legion
9. Emperor Karkaro

Not much to be said that hasn't been said before: these guys are the more faithful of the followera in The Shadow of Evil. All of them have their own reasons for being loyal: either because they share, and believe in Bagan's cause, share the same goals as him, or are motivated by the power he offers them. All those here serve under the Dark Banner, doing what they can to achieve their ultimate goal. And yet, it doesn't mean there aren't potential traitors among them who always seek any possible means of overthrowing Bagan, and conquering the multiverse for themselves.

A shame he knows this all too well, and simply knows how to play their ploys to HIS advantage - seeing as how ALL who serve under him are only ever pawns to his king - and the pieces of an immense board only he knows exist. For in his view, we are all only ever kings, or pawns.Heroes, or fools.
