One of the very embodiments of evil Kumasagami became public knowledge in late 2007 when he and the volcano monster Obsidious attacked L.A. during the crystal incursion caused by Krsytalak. Kumasagami was defeated by Godzilla and the Ultrazord and fled when Obsidious was killed. Spacegodzilla found and captured him and forced him into his service which he hates, the only creatures he seems to get along with is the resurrected Obsidious and the evil Imoogi Buraki, he hates King Kong with a passion and the feeling is mutual from the giant ape, he is the ancient enemy of the water kaiju Kashin Muba.
