Oh my God! I Wish I had a chance to visit such a wonderful place!! Unfortunately, in my country there is no such fantastic places with mountains, where You just can feel all the nature's beauty. You are the happiest person if You have such a possibility to visit these places!! I like this photo very much!!

Thank you! This was literally one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen on Earth. It's actually pretty far from where I live (The United States is a huge country just in terms of land mass). But I hope I'll get to visit there again someday, because it is truly breathtaking.

It is. It's in South Dakota. Apparently the colors of the formations change a lot depending on what lighting they are under--I've only been there once but I want to go back again in a different season. It was one of the most beautiful places I saw when I was traveling across the United States.

I couldn't believe how wonderful the sky looked that day. It made me so happy. We only had a day to go through the badlands and the lighting was perfect for pictures. Both scenery and sky were breathtaking. I definitely want to go back there again someday!

I hope you'll get to see them, too.

Wow, it's almost as if there are different layers of rocks just piled on top of each other.

I had a breathtakingly awesome time!

The layers of rock are different. I think that the badlands were formed at sea-bottom, and some layers are known to be fossil-rich. It's very interesting. ^_^

The sky was lucky timing! I had to stop for pictures about a million times as we went through the badlands, because aside from everything being beautiful and strange, we had perfect lighting and a wild sky.
