Thank you! This was literally one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen on Earth. It's actually pretty far from where I live (The United States is a huge country just in terms of land mass). But I hope I'll get to visit there again someday, because it is truly breathtaking.

It is. It's in South Dakota. Apparently the colors of the formations change a lot depending on what lighting they are under--I've only been there once but I want to go back again in a different season. It was one of the most beautiful places I saw when I was traveling across the United States.

I had a breathtakingly awesome time!
The layers of rock are different. I think that the badlands were formed at sea-bottom, and some layers are known to be fossil-rich. It's very interesting. ^_^

The sky was lucky timing! I had to stop for pictures about a million times as we went through the badlands, because aside from everything being beautiful and strange, we had perfect lighting and a wild sky.
