... Sometimes, I start doing stuff for a game. And then I open up Multimedia Fusion 2 and get bewildered by having no idea how to use it, and realize how much art and music is required, and I give up before anything comes to fruition.That being said, I wasn't going to post this, but it'll just rot on my hard drive if I don't.

That's why there are always development teams. No one person can do everything by them self without the help of someone who has the knowledge of programming, art, design, etc.
However that only works if everyone agrees with the idea. Other then that, there's always Gif animations/Flash.
I plan on making a game someday myself. But mostly in the 3D field. But will do some pixel art for menus/mug-shots/etc.

Don't count on it. The instant I open up that godforsaken program I'm just baffled. And it doesn't work enough like a normal programming language to make sense. I can't do anything in it... and it's incredibly depressing.
On that note, I also don't know enough of any particular programming language to make a game from scratch.
