I have the original in RAW-image.
Impossible to cheat with that.
But I`ve guess he never have seen aurora in real life.
Seriusly no aurora in Qatar.

no its called "nothern light" or "aurora borealis" or "southern lights" at the southern hemisphere (sΓΈrpolen).
But its no clouds/sky, more like a gigantic neon light.
But instead of neon, its nitrogen and oxygen making the light.
Facinating it is....

Thanks for your comment.
No one knows what the aurora looks like the next moment.
I guess that is one of the reasons so many likes it.
Its not tamed, its WILD, does what it pleased, full of surprises.
To observe, patience is needed, but then you will get rewarded!
And thanks for making this your fav*

Thanks for comments.
Well, you feel really small locking up when the Aurora starts.
To put a little civilication in the photo, give a clue about the size.
And its never dull watching it!

very beautiful shot! but I am curious as to why you shot it at such a high ISO? There would be much less noise with 100-200ISO...

its true that lower ISO makes less noise. but as you see i have a exposure at 6 seconds, and with lower ISO the time had to be longer, and the Aurora would bee washed out. the aurora had weak brightness and was active at this moment, and one second exposure would be optimal.
this is the best i could do with my equipment.
