He has dark brown paws up to his ankles and elbows, a dark tail, dark ears, dark markings above his eyes and around his muzzle, and dark stripes of the same color on his neck, shoulders, and rump. He is spotted with dark and light flecks, and his chin, the fluff inside of his ears, around the bottom outside of his eyes, the bottoms of his paws, and a small patch on his chest are all a very light color.

Personality||

Despite his somewhat intimidating appearance, Otso could not be a more jolly cat. Gregarious and laid-back, his life is quantified with the relationships he builds with those around him, positive and negative alike. He is not easily fazed by anything, and is quick to laugh in tense situations, even where it may not be appropriate. While in some cases a strength of character, his honesty is also one of his bigger flaws. That isn't to say he is oblivious to his own bluntness, or how it comes off to others; in fact, he often makes an effort to soften his words before he speaks them. But if it comes between kindness or telling the truth, he will choose honesty every time. To him, nothing is worse than a cat who lies and deceives.

Having grown up in a well-organized gang, Otso understands the importance of doing your duties for the greater good. That being said, he also places a high value on enjoyment of life and ones' duties. To him, a job is not worth doing is it can't be fun as well, and a cat is not worth his rank if he can't make doing his job seem fun (even the most unsavory ones). He is a cat often found telling jokes and tales while on patrol to keep others entertained, or making a game of who can bring back the most prey. This attitude gives him a rather black-and-white reception with cats. His method of 'productive goofing-off' shines well with some, particularly younger cats, but shoes itself as immaturity with others, and can lead to frustration on both sides. In this way, another of Otso's major personality downfalls is brought to life; he just can't seem to take anything seriously. He responds to nearly everything with the same jovial, unconcerned attitude, whether it's a bright spring day or a fight unfolding.

Of course, this doesn't mean that he can't give a good amount of thought to things. It's merely that he prefers not to, and even when he does, isn't one for really showing it. The only times he ever grows serious are in extremely dire situations, or in the case of a death. Even then, he will still make an effort to lighten the mood and ease the tension however he can. He doesn't particularly like anything being too serious.

History||

[Kithood]
Bear grew up in a group of cats who were born and raised in exile.
This group was nameless and simply called themselves a gang.
They specialized in collecting scattered artifacts ( tribe cat accessories ) they found from their deities.
They did not believe the Tribes were real and that they were simply a myth.
Males were held higher than females and Hehku was one of only a few she-cats in the gang
They had strong morals of only having one permanent mate and never killing anyone. If a cat broke the rules they were supposed to be killed or cast out of the group.

[Adolescence]
Hehku climbed the ranks almost over night to the top hunter position.
Here is where she met Bear and Zeek who were also hunters in the gang.
They spent a whole year hunting together and growing close as Hehku and Bear and Zeek started to sleep next to each other in the dens becoming close friends.
Bear began to develop confusing romantic feelings for both of them, but decided he must really only 'love' Hehku, and probably just cared about Zeek as a friend. Hehku confessed her love for both of them and wanted to have a three-way relationship. Zeek and Bear were unsure and decided to talk to each other about it.
A few days later they returned to Hehku telling her they would agree to be her mates but only secretly because they feared being kicked from their gang.

[Adulthood]
After four months of being together Hehku brought up that she wanted to start a family with both of them and be a mother
After some coaxing the three decided to have kittens even though it meant Hehku would lose her position in the gang and be looked down on for having a litter ‘without a father’.
Hehku got pregnant.
The gang began to question Hehku who the father of her kittens were as time went along and she simply said she ‘didn't know’.
Her brothers continued to pester her about the father of her kittens until she broke down and told them it was two cats her brothers were APPALLED.
She lost her position in the gang and many cats started looking down on her for her immoral choices aka getting knocked up but not knowing who the dad was.
Hehku secluded herself for a long time until Bear and Zeek had to convince her to be social again which she managed to do but her brothers never fully accepted her or her fatherless litter.
Hehku gave birth to the kittens at night.There were six kits total, but three were stillborn.
The first three kittens that were born were stillborn and it really freaked Hehku out until Komore was born and then Roari and then Mkaa. The stillborn kittens were named Ash, Cinders, and Soot.
Bear and Zeek did not get to see their kittens until a week after they were born because they had to lay low.
Unknown to Bear and Zeek, Hehku's brothers were harassing her.
One of the brothers told the leader about their three-way relationship.
The leader was furious believing his hunters immediately and ordered for hehku’s brothers to attack Zeek and Bear the next day
The next morning the brothers attacked bear and Zeek on a patrol wounding them both and giving Bear large wounds over his face bcus he tried the hardest to fight them off and Zeek was just a wimp.
After the brothers dragged Zeek and bear back into camp the leader ordered Hehku to stand up and go into the middle of the camp where he outed her and Zeek and Bear’s relationship. Everyone was shocked and grossed out.
The leader of the camp banished hehku telling her she could leave with only two of her kittens and that Mkaa must be left in the gang where they would decide her fate
Hehku left with her two kittens immediately while being escorted out of the territory by two other members of the gang.
Bear and Zeek were heartbroken that they hadn't even gotten to say goodbye.

[Adulthood (Exile)]
After Hehku left Bear and Zeek were immediately threatened and told they would be executed the next morning
That night when everyone else was asleep the two of them snuck into the nursery and took back Mkaa and fled the territory hoping to find Hehku and the other two kits
Zeek and Bear took care of the kitten as well as they could and Mkaa grew to be a strong beautiful young lady uwu
They never did find Hehku again and lived a day’s walk south of the gang’s territory
Zeek and Bear taught Mkaa how to hunt like the gang cats hunted and shared their love of tribe artifacts with her (even adorning her with her own accessories)
Bear and Zeek still spent a lot of time together cuddling and doing other activities as they grew closer to each other than they ever had with Hehku because they never really got to be with her as much as they got to be with each other, due to the strict rules of their previous gang
One day while out playing Mkaa came across two other kits that she had never seen around before and the three of them went back to see Mkaa’s fathers
Zeek and Bear were shocked to see Mkaa return with two kits they recognized immediately as their other kits.
They asked Komore and Roari to take them back to their mother and the two kits agreed
Hehku was shocked when Komore and Roari returned with her previous mates and she ran to them and nuzzled them both telling Komore and Roari that these two were their fathers
Mkaa was curious about her mother and wasn’t sure how she felt about her but Hehku was very kind and calm to the kitten
Hehku Bear and Hehku stayed together a little while to see if they could repair their relationship
The three stayed together for two months
Bear and Zeek told Hehku that they wished to part after explaining that they no longer felt like they were in love with her and Hehku agreed sadly stating that she wished to move on
They parted and Komore Roari and Hehku left to go to the tribes which were just south of them
After they left Zeek and Bear stayed together longer as they continued to fall in love but as time went by the love faded and they no longer felt the same for each other Bear said it was hehku and mkaa who had kept them together but Mkaa was grown up and Hehku was gone
Zeek was a little hurt and told Bear that he wished that Bear hadn’t lead him on like that and the two got into an argument.
Zeek stormed off for a day to cool down upset by the fact that Bear was right
While Zeek was gone Bear told Mkaa that he wanted to go to those tribes Hehku had gone to and she seemed interested
When Zeek returned Bear and Mkaa told him that they were leaving to go back to the tribes and Zeek begged them not to
They left anyway bear told Zeek that he needed to calm down and grown up and that he could come to the tribes one day if he wished to
The Bear and Mkaa left Zeek and came to the tribes

Otso is VERY interested in smithing. He thinks it's the coolest thing, being able to actually make accessories.
