That's because I don't think I qualify as an artist, XD, and I don't have a style haha...

I just have patience, and some photoshop skills since I'm graphic designer. So I use lots of screenshots as references, because I WANT my chars to look like they did in the show. (or at least... as close as I can make them).

Anyone who can draw, is an artist. It take a true artist to be able to draw something just as someone else did, no matter what it is. Style is lame, I say that because I don't know if I have one either, I probably do but It's so bad I don't want to count it as such! XD

I wish I had both of those. I seem to be a bit technologically challenged when it comes to photoshop...That's what I like about your art. It simply looks just like the characters, just as they should be. (even if I have no idea who they are because I'm super behind in the series. I only used to watch them once in a great while when I would babysit for my sister, we'd watch them together. lol)

Yes, I try very hard for them to look like the real thing, I usually have 4-5 screenshots of the char while I draw, and stare at them for minutes. By each trace that I make, I stop to look if it looks "right".

A lot of CTRL+Z is involved too and the eraser tool is my best friend hehe.
It is a shame you don't got to see the entire series, I'm telling you, when I was like 12, I didn't pay much attention to the show. But now that I'm a grown up, I saw it and I was like WOW! was this that good? I asked a friend of mine, that is my age, to watch it, and she felt the same! She couldn't stop watching. And now that there are comics by the original author, its even better!

I advice any fan or ex fan or anyone who ever like gargoyles to buy the DVD and get the Comic Books, its SO worth it

Aw, well I'm glad I did.

That's a very good idea. I'm sure I would do that same, if I wasn't so gosh darn lazy! lol And having the time and resources might help a tad.

Oh, that's cool. I really am photoshop-challenged. I've come to that sad reality when I am trying to do simple backgrounds for my school yearbook and I don't even know how to do the simplest things.

I really do want to continue watching, it's like anime, it's addicting, you just have to watch it. It's like crack for your eyes and mind. lol Yeah, I know what you mean. When I was younger it simply appealed to my childish fantasies and imagination, but now that I am older I can really comprehend what is going on, which is really way more in depth than what one would think. lol There are comics? Holy crap. Who'd a thunk? lol

Hmm, that is a very tempting idea. DVDs, yes... My friend you are a genius! Perhaps I shall take your advice and run with it, I wonder if I can get those comics at the library somehow. Though I do realize that won't be nearly as awesome as actually owning them. lol
