5 months, but IT HAS BEEN DONE. Had a ton of fun on this one, both swearing at it and finally getting things right. Tons of man-hours went in and it was worth is. Gonna upload a compilation of detail shots from this in a few minutes... I just need to make it. The details are insane. I was working at at least 300% most of the time.You have to download this one to appreciate the detail work. <3

I did noticed that the flames are connecting to Shadowblade, but I don't see the point of impact.
But the Gabriell's Fire and the EbonBlade attacks are done very nicely. The extra details actually went very well with these dragons. You also gave Shadowblade's spine a more sinister look than what my blueprints show and I love it. You've made them more of the opposites they represent respectfully.

Yay next time I should undertake one of these big ones over the summer (except I'm trying to get research internships this summer, so no time even then <3)
As for the flames. Bah, fought with them for a long time. Originally, they stopped short so it would look like Shadowblade was about to get a head shot of it. But making the fire that short looked really silly with the design I chose. So I just sorta decided that it's hiiting his right shoulder or something. Yeah.... didn't work so good did it? lol maybe if I'd added a little bit of splash that'd make it more clear.... hm... I'll look into that tomorrow morning. May update if it makes a decent difference.

Yeah...If flames connect to an object, you'd expect a splash effect when you watch a lot of anime. And I watch a lot of anime...
