98% completeall it need was the belt and the waist armor...
costume for he will cosplay as KAIN highwind
/story/
i made a 2 version mixed of Kain's armor one is the base of FFIV cause the construction and idea of the costume is cool and i use the Dissidia 012 duodecim version for the details (paints and linings) cause its very describable...
though some of you might think its wrong but its my style though ^_^ ... i just think that mixing the 2 designs will be easy and might look awesome for my self
so what do you think guys?

This will definitely help me figure out the designing aspects of Kain's armour. Been planning to cosplay Kain for a long long time, but figuring out armour construction gave me a migraine. ><"

the client gave it to me cause he was playing the DS version, i think there are some available in the NET

Someday I'll get somone to make a legit Haku-men outfit that has a one-way see-through helmet and long fake hair and a Batman-like body suit.

sure... making a body suit is really expensive, i think you can use cloths that is used for tight suit or synthetic leather for that style

i just find some scrap garbage and make patterns out of it then i combined it together
its made in old card boards and scrap foams

Oh, it actually looks like its turning out to be pretty good in my opinion. It looks like you used a gloss on it, but i know i personally avoid gloss because it seem that it gives camera's trouble sometimes since it reflects so much light.

it depends if the costume will be taken in a studio and it also depends on the photographer how he/she will be able to manage the costume and the light...
i use gloss for some semi metal glass effect...
but sometimes i use flat color, though kain's armor in FFIV is really flat and Glossy in Dissidia but i planned to mix the 2
soon i might replace the paints for your idea... like semi gloss or semi flat color so that the light wont bounce back ^_^
