Due to a request, I have put this one up. I absolutely LOVE this picture.If you've ever played Final Fantasy Tactics...then you most likely get the picture.
For those not in the know: Chemists basically chuck items around (they're the only ones who can toss em long distances). And it look like they're hurling them at the characters, and then the potion would shatter. This HAS to hurt.

lol maybe all the potions has a hidden effect that we dont know of, perhaps they actually heal an extra 5 HP, but the potion itself also damages for 5 HP. example, regular potions actually heal for 35 HP, but the impact of it deals 5 damage therefore we get the 30 HP heal compenent. I guess potions works by entering your blood lol

THe other "Pain that heals" I've always laughed at was the Healing Staff. Beat someone to death with it and their wounds are healed xD

This is a really nice piece. I like the movement and flow of the chemist, you can really picture the action he is in.
This is also a really nice and funny take on how the chemist always throws everything. I would imagine a chucked needle would hurt just as much, if thrown in the right way.

Actually reminds me of a quote from one of the Sword and the Chain books. "But what if he chokes on it?" "They're healing draughts. The only way you could hurt someone with them is club them with the bottle."

...I always wondered about this, and why the glass of the bottle shattering didn't do any damage. If a character was on 1 health and was hit by one, I was surprised they weren't killed by the glass shattering before the potion healed them. A mystery...

I think the picture itself is totally awesome, and the concept: fuckin' hilarious. I haven't drawn a lot of tactics fanart--actually, I don't draw a lot of fanart at all, but I collect doujin dedicated to Ramza and Delita pairings. I really like your grasp of the costumes and the movement in Ramza's body, making it quite obvious that he just got cracked in the face with a glass vial.
Totally magnificent.

The strange thing is, I'm playing it right now, but i dumped my chemist off a while back.
And also, I always thought about how you can throw a beaker made of glass at people, filled with blue stuff, and suddenly they get healed. Where does the beaker go??? Lol

Apparently Ramza has a -2 to his Catch stat. That or he's not very profficient in his "Hand-Eye-Coordenation" Skill.

Actually, I think he succeeded. And then regretted it. Why? Look at the picture carefully, Ramza's knees are facing us, but his head turned away. How does this work?
Simple. The potion hit him IN THE FACE.
