another digital painting i'v just completed on photoshop. making rocks is damn hard. its got loads of room for improvement, but i'm sure it will all come with practice!!

thank you so much. its really pretty difficult to paint rocks and stone. even more difficult to understand the effect of light on them and their color. i was trying to practice that.

Lovely work, the splash looks really good, what is so hard to draw and i think you have done it well. The rocks look good as well, but it was the impressive wave that caught my eye!

The rocks are good, and i think if they where wrong they would stand out more because they would look odd. I think the picture looks really nice though

I think the rocks are fine...
As my teacher says, "sometimes less is more"...
meaning that sometimes you can overdue an item
and it takes away the essence of the artist's
brush strokes, which are what make it so unique.

thank you so much! just some practice. but tis still pretty rough. the rocks were a tough job. and i couldnt get the level of detail i was striving for. if i did, this thing would take a couple of days more to complete. but i dont have time

han yar, i know. but i was painting this from a picture and didnt adventure on my own into putting my own colors. just wanted to be as close to the picture as posssible.

thank you. yep, the thumbnail does look like tis a photograph. but there's not really lots of details in this. my main focus was on the colors.
