Elspeth and Rushton again... from The Obernewtyn Chronicles (READ THEM READ THEM READ THEM READ THEM!!!). The most recent book yet again had me just begging Isobelle Carmody just to friggen let Elspeth and Ruston be together for one night. Just one night without her gallivanting off to fulfil her destiny and without him being brainwashed or doing Master of Obernewtyn crap damnit!!!!!!This was inspired by the small sections in The Stone Key where Elspeth was talking about swimming with Rushton in more peaceful times.
Im actually quite proud of this one! (which means everyone else probably wont like it) but I'm pretty happy with the shading and I'm getting better with the Copics!
(also if anyone finds the stock image for this please let me know!!! I cant find where I got it from ANYWHERE!!)

I only recently picked up this series, and I am hooked. I started "The Keeping Place" yesterday, and I can't seem to put it down, which doesn't help in the way of schoolwork...
I absolutely love this picture, and it is very similar to how I imagined them to be
When they became a couple, I literally choked up-I tried to breathe, but couldn't, then spent five seconds coughing :/

Yeah they're by an Australian author they're pretty damn easy to get here but I dunno about anywhere else. I hope you can get your paws on them they're really wonderful

Just... wow. My jaw pretty much hit my desk when I opened this. It's so full of emotion and just captures the two of them perfectly.
It sounds weird, but I am so proud of you for doing such an amazing job here. So many people try and draw Elspeth/Rushton/both of them and just don't get it right.
