Description "That's sixteen to three now, and she's not even picked up the lightsaber. Someone want to tell me why the kriff we're letting a thief and backstabber near the Padawans?"

"Because give her a week and she'll show them how to do that to every Sith in the galaxy."

You can thank for this piece, as she very kindly accepted adapting and drawing it from prior artworks. I strongly suggest checking out her gallery for similar images, or requesting a commission as she has slots open right now.

One of the more interesting subjects when it comes to having younger characters in the Brotherhood is how time advances. One year in the real world is effectively one year in the fictional setting, meaning that characters of a certain age will never stay within that general age group for long. So, children grow up quite quickly as events progress, and the old grow ever older. In the case of Rhan, Essik, and Tarvitz this isn't too much of an issue. Nautolans seem not to age all that much, Essik's insectoid appearance allows me to get away with a lot, and Tarvitz's hair is already turning grey from the punishment his body has been put through. Sirra was the only problem, as she was in her early teens. So, this is future proofing things with a reference of who she will (probably) become in a few years time.

In truth, the design was effectively intended to avoid having any direct inspiration from her parental (or mentor) figures. She's lacking any especially heavy armour or bright colours, as I believe that both of them would have taught her to enhance her existing skills over starting over. Tarvitz in particular, recognising that she'd never gain his sheer muscle mass due to her poor upbringing, likely taught her to instead kill his kind and how to beat them in combat. As such, her attire basically consists of muted colours, a lot of pockets, durable material, and something which can easily be adapted to most environments.

Perhaps the only oddities are her hair - likely borne from realising she didn't need to cut it with a knife or sharpened metal any more - and retaining her clan tattoos. The latter case is the result of the Brotherhood's racial traits when it comes to Kiffar, and I will probably have to justify at a later date. In any case, I very much liked the result of this one.

You can find out more relating to this and other character stories in Clan Odan-Urr  in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood , which allows its members a good deal of leeway in crafting individual tales while following larger organisation-wide storylines.

Sirra. Technically Sirra Vel, but she has good reason for abandoning that surname.
