Description COMMENTS AND/OR CRIT ARE NICE

YES THIS WAS ALSO FUN. I had this image in my mind for a long while and I finally got to put it on canvas! I did a lot of experimenting on this one yees fun fun. I think I'd better work on my colour choices more though, someone said I tend to get stuck on the same colours which i AGREE SO HARD ON

AHHH i still have so much to learn

yeeees i am still mentally wasted but as long as i can draw stuff i'll hopefully be okay lol

I definitely like how soft it is to reflect how blurry it gets when it rains.

Great!Β  Well done with the way you have drawn the lights shining in the darkness, especially in the mist at the street level.Β  Beautiful atmospheric work!
(like the reflections of the lights in the rain water on the street.)

Absolutely fantastic, looks amazing as a conceptual-environment piece

But maybe, you can try tidying up the windows more, and make some of the colours spread and mix out more, to achieve the effect of a street washed by rain. Defining the rain more and adding stars will definitely help, and also making the overall piece have a cooler temperature to make the reds pop out even more.

HELLO FRIEND thank you so much

Ah yeah haha about the windows, I wasn't aiming too much on the detail on this one so I left the buildings as is. In the end I was going more for the general mood of it I guess. I definitely want to try making a more detailed piece similar to this someday (lol I have a handful of scrapped cityscape pics coz I couldn't get the buldings right). SOMEDAY.

i don't think there would be any stars out on a rainy day though lol, clouds and all. or is it possible?

AHH thank you again for the insight!

Yeah, I definitely get it. Buildings are a monster and they take so much time to make... so tedious...

possible, entirely possible, just they're faint and not too visible... clouds are definitely there but also faint and vague. In rainy settings usually it's the mist that dominates.

No problem!
