Hi there my friend, in my opinion this is probably one of your strongest inner piece yet. I guess there are many reasons for this art work and some messages are quite clear if I can say this like that.
This painting is really remarquable by its composition, strength, colours and most of all the simplicity of presence that we perceive when looking at her striking (regard).
The painting might suggest inner pain, forced inner silence as maybe a symbol of precaution of self precaution but your hand still suggests openness to the world while keeping an open eye to life.
Enough said haha.

really like the details : the pink cheeks, the watery effect in the left eye, the red under the mouth just as if crying could make the lipstick fade away like it does for eye makeup, the way the black color of her hair fades into the darkness around, the way she is forced to silence... the picture is violent but very delicate though.
