The final (I think!) work in the War Toys series. A bastard to build and a bastard to photograph, its destined to be the 'centerpiece' of the show, suspended from the ceiling.Unfortunately, this photo doesn't really show the interior of the vessel, with its movable steering wheel, and the wooden jointing underneath the bitumen covered fabric.

Unfortunately not! I'm completely slack at the WIP shots with any of my works. I think its because I get too caught up in making them "work"!

I must ask, what materials did you use? This is absolutely marvelous, and quite inspiring. I may attempt my own airship of sorts

Mainly timber for this one, both found and bought, along with the remnants of a bowl swivel chair, canvas and rope. But mostly wood!
