Description Another work for the War Toys Series. The two elements of this piece were originally made for two completely separate works, but just seemed to work so well together and to fit the idea I was trying to illustrate.

um. these are really amazing. this one is so strange but it is rooted in mechanical concepts but it is so playful and still so beautiful. awkward and charming. Sort of like you?
Thos crazy cleated/toothed birdhouse looking things add so much zest to the piece. The limb holding them on has great dramatic and visual tension that they really work well against and with the structure of the box. That damned trim piece I should be revolted by but it works so well in grounding it. Great solitions here.

Yeah...strange and a little bit crazy...JUST LIKE ME!

I was really happy with this one..in fact I still am, which is more surprising because I usually begin to pick apart 'faults' within a few days of them being finished.

Yeah, when I attached that trim bit, I thought I'd end up taking it off, but it worked to stabilise and didn't look as bad as I thought.

Thankyou analog77! I usually title my pieces quite ambigiously, but in this case its the other way around...the work is amibigious and the title (hopefully) makes you rethink it.

And here I was thinking my presentation of late has been woeful! I need a white wall!

Cheers,
K.

Interesting... you can't tell what is what, specifically, but that's why it works!

Those blocks (which I assume to be disposed waste) look kind of cute...

Yeah, I kind of like the ambiguity of the piece when teamed with the title. I was hoping it would make viewers re-think the piece. Thanks mate!

Titles are very fun things. You'd be amazed what you can do with them.
