This version of their relationship kinda reminds of Shiniez's Sunstone series. The awkwardness of beginnings. And that vulnerability, Just so raw. I see Asami a more a Tina Guo type - Industrial Metal on a Cello. Maybe we'll see more of this in the future? All 4 onstage, a al Team Avatar? Mako and Bolin still working the Bass and Drums, Korra still Lead Guitar. Have the Beifong ladies as your back up singers / dancers (I just want to see Lin dance - just once) and Asami on Electric Violin like Johanna Moresco from Cruxshadows - Full red and black industrial goth outfit.
Now that would be one hell of a concert.Β Better than the Red Lotus / Rollins Band tribute I've seen.

The contrast of instruments and musical styles in these two comic strips reminds me of that of the characters in If I StayΒ by Gayle Forman. As a singer and violinist, I know how well music can draw people together--even if you don't use the same instrument or genre you can identify with that kind of skill and energy. You did a good job of capturing that kind of admiring connection!
