SOLD OUTFirst art of 2008! Four elemental animals done as sticker and magnet designs for Further Confusion 2008, which I will be at in the dealer's room. I wanted to have some fun cool looking stickers I could sell at my dealer's table, and at future cons as well. So I picked a theme that's fun and pretty popular, and everyone can relate to and appreciate. I would like to do more themed sticker sets like this in the future, but I don't have the time before FC.
The originals paintings and the sticker/magnets will all be at FC, so if you're going stop by my table! I've been working all winter break on these, so hopefully someone out there will want some stickers. ^^
Done with fluid acrylics (like watercolour) and coloured pencil on bristol

If I had to think of names for these guys they would be Fire-Fox, Arctic-Otter, Hurricane-Falcon, and Splintering-Deer... hehe, Firefox ^-^

The animals for each element are perfect, and the backgrounds for each are intricately beautiful. I love it!! Three friends and I had a little club in middle school where we each pretended to kind of control an element...I had fire, and the red fox is my favourite animal, so I personally think that this is perfect!

Love the animal with their elementle pairs. How did you pick the animals with that may I ask?

Well, I wanted them all to be North American animals, so I tried to pick animals from that area that would be popular as well. A fox's firey colored fur I though would go well with fire. A deer's being a browser of vegitation matched well with the leaves. Otters live in the water, and are playful so I thought they'd be fun. And a falcon for air because they're the fastest birds of prey alive.

Oh yeah, those are really good representants! Others I usually also see are lion, horse, dophin/fish (typically), and of course some bird, although sometimes also dragon. Rhino could also do well for earth... and Tasmanian wolf for fire
