Man oh man, do I LOVE drawing gryphons! This is a painterly commission of a wonderfully designed gryphon, and even though I struggled with the wings (got some great help from livestream viewers) I think the result is good.10 hours in Photoshop CS4

Beautiful lighting and feather details! The face neck and chest are particularly awesome. As is the soft light. It is a very beautifly designed gryphon. love the touch of blue and white underpaws.

Totally worth the time that was taken on it! I'm a huge fan of fantasy art, and this would most definitely grace my ceiling if I had the cash for it! Really digging the attention that went into the detailing of the fur, feathers, and face, too. Overall, I'd give this two thumbs up and then some!
