Finished full illustration for Fiver! Painting this one constantly made me wish it was Christmas. Lovely clear cold winter night, everything blanketed in snow, warm glow from a quaint mountain town in the distance... Yep. Don't even get me STARTED on Christmas! Everything is just so peaceful, calming, warm, yet cold, beautiful, magical, and so much more
I'm trying to believe in Santa, Jack Frost, Easter Bunny, ect. again so my life will be a lot more magical.

Oh I love how this came out. ;w; The squirrel was an amazing touch! It ties the orange tones in through the whole piece nicely. owo And helps bring your eyes down from the Fox towards the town~ >w< <3 And don't get me STARTED on those gorgeous lights in that sky. ;w;
What kind of brush do you use for those? owo Just a regular hard brush, and some smudging? o-o

Why thank you! I don't really use smudge, I have a brush that *Dreamspirit created and shared with me that I use a lot. She doesn't have it available for download anywhere, however she gave me permission to share it if you wanted it? It emulates a brush loaded with acrylic paint fairly well for Photoshop, which is why I like it. Feels more natural than the default PS brushes.
