This was really just an excuse to draw ravens. And to have a picture named after a VΓ€rttinΓ€ song. Lolz guise i know finnish
Um. This is no one important. A random Eydnan female. Though I might name her and make her of minor importance or something. Errrghghgdjfa.
This was... kind of a pain to do. Wanted to be a mixed-media experiment, sort had to struggle along with it. Not exactly like how I pictured it in my mind but what can you do.
Used: Blue pencil, black and sienna microns, red pencil, colored pencil, tube watercolors, homemade watercolors, markers, a smidgen of photoshop XD

I still can't believe I have this here right now.
I love this so much, for Eydnan goodness and RAVENS and the wintery atmosphere.
My favourite part however is her eye. I doubt it's intentional, but I keep seeing her eye in two different ways because the white of her eye is so dominant. First I though her eye WAS white or blind and it really stood out to me and seemed to fit the picture, until my friend said "hey, she's just looking backwards/sidewars, see?".
Now I see it both and like it even more.
What does Musta Lintu mean? I mean, which is black and which is bird.

The eye thing is weird! I guess since I painted it myself I can't see the blind eye without a lot of struggle and displacement of the rest of the picture. But it's really interesting that you saw it like that at first!
I think, and don't quote me on this, that "musta" is black, and "lintu" is bird. I'm assuming there is inflection on the words in some manner. I wish I could speak Finnish but I can't XD

I ike this alot, maybe because the girl looks more feminine then usual, or I have a greater appreciation of Crows since I've seen more. @,@ they're freakn gigantic!

I dunno that VΓ€rttinΓ€ song though, in case they've spelled word lintu with d instead of t. CONFUSION.

Well, they might have a reason to write it with a d, I really don't know since I haven't heard the song or anything.
Also, I forgot to mention, her dress reminds me of Finnish old dresses for some reason, which I find nice. Although I don't know if it was Finland inspired at all or not.

I think I'll run with accurate Finnish first, whatever they meant to do by spelling it lindu I don't know. :3
And yes, Eydnan people are strongly influenced by Scandinavians and Slavs, they live in a similar boreal forest are aos I figured I'd take cues from people who actually live there :3
