Description
The F-57 Mongoose is the latest and greatest jet fighter employed by the Hentri Air Defense Force. Boasting the most advances sensors, stealth systems, and targeting arrays on the market, the Mongoose is fast, deadly, and nigh-undetectable. Well, until it's too late, anyways.

This fighter was based primarily on the Sukhoi Su-27, among others. Funny how a build can start with the simplest of things; this fighter started to form around an idea I had for a forward landing gear assembly for use on a catapult-assisted jet fighter, and then the rest of the jet just kind of happened. I'm quite pleased with most aspects of it, primarily the fast that for once, something I built can actually land. There are one or two things I'm not happy with- the rear landing gear, for example, kind of suck- but overall, this is something I'm rather proud of. And it better be, because it took a whole damn day to build this one little thing.
