A hockey mask wasn't what I was going for. The mask was based on a mask I've seen in an African Culture shop at a local mall. It was a flipable mask. Those lines are supposed to be stitches over the mouth, which represents silence.

oh one of those , i call them hoogey boogey masks for some reason they have em dotted all over a african restaurant down the street, nice thought and a good idea for a entity and the thought of silence makes it all the more spooky, the scariest monsters are always the silent ones
