Wow, was this last years or did they really grow this fast in a short amount of time?
Most of the deer here have already dropped by now and the elk are just starting to lose their antlers.

Could just be the warmer climate in that particular state.
I'm going out tomorrow to look for sheds, My path always leads me to them.Β Β Β

Warm is the word, sadly. Β It was close to 90 today! Β We had no winter which is really bad due to the ongoing drought...Good luck with the sheds! Β I've got several harvest sets from small FL deer that I've used in decorating around my house...

There was a good few inches of snow up where i went up shed hunting, it all melted once i got back to camp.
Saw a blacktail buck, two bull elk with antlers still attached to their heads, and a herd of blacktail does.
Found a year old elk shed though, better than nothing!Β Β
