Description Thought I would throw something together to show my Skyrim character Argonian Crystal-la's love life. At this time Crystal-la just entered a full year into the Companions (not yet a member of the circle) and Ghorbash is just leaving his Stronghold before joining the Imperial Legion. Kinda cheesy story but oh well, I enjoyed writing and drawing it. If wanting to understand a little bit more about Crystal-la click here [link]
Here we go

Crystal-la busted through the doors of Jorrvaskr in excitement “Wolf Armor...Skyforge steel Wolf Armor and its MINE!” as she proudly walks through Whiterun with her head held high. “A few days travel should be enough for me to get used to walking in this armor” as she looked through her knapsack to prepare to the long journey to the Reach.
“Winning the three events for the Wolf Armor, moving up to a better rank and a letter from Ghorbash wanting me to meet with him” she squealed with delight. It’s been a little over a year since Crystal-la joined the Companions and just about a year since she became Bloodkin to the Orc Strongholds. Every job that the Companions were assigned to in the Reach, Crystal-la always asked to be the first to receive the job. She never missed the opportunity to stop by the Stronghold Dushnikh Yal, to see Ghorbash; she was deeply fond of the Orc.

After a few days travel, she made it to Dushnikh Yal in the evening. She waited at the usual spot where Ghorbash and her always met; a rocky hill with a juniper tree at the top, the hill wasn’t far from the Stronghold. Crystal-la blew a shrill sounding whistle so he could hear it.

Ghorbash opened the gates of the Stronghold and started walking towards Crystal-la; he made her knees buckle and her heart leap. It was as if he walked like he owned the world, such prowess and gallantness in his stride. She smiled and thought to herself ‘what more can you ask for? If only he would join you in the Companions, the world would tremble beneath our feet. He is absolutely stunning’

Crystal-la couldn’t wait till Ghorbash walked up the hill. She threw off her knapsack and ran towards him. As she ran she felt the desire to embrace him roar through her, causing her to stumble into his arms. Crystal-la chuckled “I guess Im not used to this armor just yet”. Ghorbash lightly smiled at her “or perhaps you are so pleased to see me you forgot how to run” as he cupped her cheek with his hand and met her gaze. His hands were rough and callused but she felt comfort with his touch. He kissed her with possession and decadence as he hugged her tightly. Ghorbash seemed distracted on something of great importance but she tossed the thought aside as she embraced his arms. “What? No comment on my beautiful new armor?” as Crystal-la smiled and shook her hips playfully. “I had to win three events at Jorrvaskr and with the help of your training and a touch of my mettle…Well heres the outcome” then placed her head on his chest. “What would I do without you?” as she started to cuddle his well built figure.

Living in Jorrvaskr left her forgetting about her feminine side but when she was with Ghorbash, it all came back naturally. It was a nice change of pace from the treatment of the Nords, as most Nords were cold and rugged. Having been raised by Nords she could handle her own but Ghorbash released a new found passion that she wasn’t familiar with; she welcomed the feeling in his presence.

Ghorbash released his grip on Crystal-la and they both sat down by the tree. “Ive been wanting to tell you something and I couldn’t tell you by letter” as Ghorbash took a deep breathe and held her hand. Crystal-la felt her heart beat faster as she thought to herself ‘this is it! He’s going to join the Companions and we will bring honor together side by side’ as she smiled greatly at his words.

He cleared his throat and spoke sternly “I decided to leave the Stronghold and to join the Imperial Army” Crystal-la smile disappeared and she stood up and faced Ghorbash “w-wait, what? W-w-what are you saying? No. You c-cant!” her voice began to stutter.
“Crystal-la, don’t start a fuss and calm down. I thought you would be happy for me” as Ghorbash stood up and tried to place his hands on her shoulders.

Crystal-la shook her shoulders so he couldn’t hold her “no, I want to be beside you. But if you really want to join then I’ll leave the Companions and join the Imperial Army too. Who knows, maybe we could get stationed at the same place. Watching each others back and we…” Ghorbash lowered his eyes “Listen to yourself” as he calmly spoke to her “I couldn’t let you forget about your commitment to yourself. Crystal-la, you always talked about becoming a Companion and to seek your glory in battle for Skyrim; your place isn’t within the Legion. Look how far you have gotten in the Companions”

Her eyes started to swell up with tears and she wrapped her arms around Grobash “after all we been through, your going to leave the Stronghold, your family and me...just like that?” Ghorbash looked down at Crystal-la and wiped a tear with his thumb “since when do Companions cry? Remember when you had a Hagraven claw stuck in your back? You didn’t cry then and you shouldn’t cry now”.

“I don’t want you to go” she pressed her head along his chest.

Ghorbash placed his hand on the back of her neck and stroked her light green scales “the Stronghold does not have what I want. After hearing about your travels, I want to have that sort of freedom”

Crystal-la shook her head in disbelief “then take arms with me in the Companions. We would welcome you with open arms and you would definitely rise quickly in ranks..”

Ghorbash interrupted her “That isn’t a life for an Orc warrior. The Legion welcomes our skill in battle and we welcome our chance to see the world. It isn’t focused on the Nord ways of living, do you understand Crystal-la?”

She rolled her eyes and crudely spoke “I understand that you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into. That war going on isn’t our concern let them fight their own battles and come fight with me..”. Crystal-la looked into Ghorbashs eyes “your seriously joining then? Fine. See what I care. It’s not like you actually had any feelings for me, right? Do I embarrass you? Is that it? Is it the Argonian part or Companion part? Ohh, its the fact Im not as strong as you, that’s it isn’t it? Well you can go to your precious Legion and pretend like your fighting in real battle. Good riddance, scum, I wished you never crossed my path.”

Ghorbash lowered his head in sorrow, he let go of Crystal-la and stepped back. He pulled out an Orcish dagger and gave it to her “I crafted a dagger for you, since the last time we were training together I managed to disarm you, now you can keep this on you at all times. You’re prepared for more intense combat, just keep your wits about you.” Ghorbash walked back to the Stronghold and he walked into the Longhouse for the night.

Crystal-la held her head in her hands in disbelief as Ghorbash walked away “did I actually say that to him? You idiot! Ghorbash is giving up his place in the Stronghold to go after his hearts desire and you lashed out at him with your horrible words. He did nothing but encourage you since the first day you met, he pushed you to continue training and keep going to towards your goal and that’s how you treat him?” She put the dagger into her belt. “I never have seen him with such a disappointed look before. He does care and you kicked him in his gut.”

Crystal-la shook off her frustration with herself and walked into the Stronghold, up to Gharols forge “only a few hours left, not a lot of time but you can do it” as she pulled out steel ingots from her knapsack and started crafting a steel war axe. After a few hours of crafting and sharpening the axe, the sun started to rise. Crystal-la wrapped the finished steel war axe in cloth. As she started to pack her things a few Orcs began their usual routine within the Stronghold.

Murbul turned her head at the noise coming from the forge. Her expression turned grim when she recognized it was Crystal-la, Murbul stormed towards her “what did you say to my son? Its no business of mine to intertwine with your affairs but if it comes between my family, don’t think for a second that I wont beat you to a bloody pulp”. Crystal-la didn’t even look up to meet Murbuls gaze as she continued to scowl at her. Finally when Murbul stopped Crystal-la sighed and falteringly spoke “Murbul, I messed up. I didn’t mean to say such cruel words to Ghorbash. I was hurt to hear he is leaving. I should have known he longed for something more but my selfish desires got the best of me. That is why I crafted this weapon for him, to aid him for his journey.
This steel war axe holds my pride for battle and my love for Ghorbash. It probably doesn’t mean much to him now but I can’t face him after what I said. Could you please honor me by giving this axe to him?
Murbul looked down at the weapon and her expression softened “at least you have good intensions to go with your actions, from time to time. Fine, you have my word he will receive it” as Murbul held the axe. “I know you have feelings for my son and I thought there was something stronger between you two as did everyone expected there was more between you two..” then Crystal-la interrupted Murbul “everyone but Ghorbash it seems” as Crystal-la finished cleaning up forge.

Crystal-la left the Stronghold as Murbul went back into the Longhouse. The Argonian Companion then continued walking back to Whiterun with a broken heart. “Well, at least now you can really start your intense training” as she brushed off a bit of dirt on her Wolf Armor and held her newly acquired Orcish dagger. “Just another scar in your life, nothing a little mead and some hunting cant cure” She longed to be by Ghorbashs side but she longed to continue to have a place in the Companions of Jorrvaskr. "Cant have both"

No worries, its probably for the best. Ghorbash joined the Imperial army and she remained in the Companions. In a way they are both happy. Thank you for taking an interest ^^

You should have put the story in a separate submission. But interesting art. Lost is jealous now. He's just cracking his immaterial knuckles to fight.
