LOL PUN.
I apologize for the watermark thingit. I hate 'em, myself, and refuse to put them on fanart, but this is original and I really like it and don't want it stolen, so, uhh.
Yeah. Just something I've done in the past few days. Brush pen on ink/marker paper. The original idea behind this was just to draw something kimono-themed, because I have rather a large number of red copics, all in very-close-but-not-quite-the-same shades, and wanted to color the kimono a sort of subtly varied red. Which I will still probably do, but I also like this enough as it is to submit it in its own right.
Best thing, though? Gender ambiguity. XD I actually thought of it as female, until I showed it to my little sister, whose immediate question was, "what's his name?" L-O-L I love how even my very sweet and innocent little sister assumes that because I'm the one drawing it, naturally it MUST be a guy. |D;;;

I saw the icon for this piece and thought it resembled an awful lot like my old kami character Ayame...and then the title said "Kami-sama" and well...*more snickering*
I was very conceited of that character, I guess. Conceited enough to think that this was fanart of him that I never...knew about. *fails at life*

This is incredibly beautiful. My jaw nearly hit the floor for such a simple and clean line drawing. The kimono and hair is what captivated me. And I did lol at the pun XD Being a Japanese speaker, I get a chuckle out of some people when I tell them about synonyms.
I am so jealous of your anatomy too! Usually when I attempted to draw anyone in a kimono it comes out awkward or their arms are too long. What is your secret?

It is true, she/he is very androgynous. Sort of as a mature woman or a feminine guy.

It's the jaw line. Too long for a delicate female. Same with the shoulder/neck area - you don't typicall emphasize those kinds of muscles on a girl. Just my .02

Nice! very proffessional work..there's something aout a black and white image with such crisp sharp lines.I like simple yet effective works. But the Idea of colouring it sounds intriguing, I'd like to see that!

Hmm... were I looking at it without your comments, I believe I would label her as a girl. The ribbon on the kimono helps with that. And the long hair.

Well 'It' is very beautiful regardless of gender. And you're right it has that sort of androgynous quality that makes it fit equally well as a ravashing goddess or a bishie god

yeah, it could go either way. the face is both masculine and feminine, but the back especially looks manly. perhaps the shoulders are a bit broad? 
i do love the technique, as always. the pose is dynamic and interesting, and the hair in particular is lovely. the way it flows is beautiful--wonderful job, luv!
