PRETTY GENESIS!!!!!! *glomps* ~<3i drew this using a reference picture - no tracing whatsoever. although i'll admit i got help on the mouth and nose (thanks again Zillah!!)

Mine usually end up like that.. this like i just went insane with lines all over it. actually, some where in my favorites is a tutorial on wings and feathers.
If you can be bothered searching then i'd recommend a look.

Oooh, I know what you mean. I have the same issue with Genesis for some annoying reason... XD And trying to draw Gackt as well... though, in a sense that's the same person...

Still - you have the awesome graphic art abilities. I'm incredibly jelous! That new deviation of yours, fire flowers or something similer, i don't even have photoshop! let alone the skills to use it!
My family also lacks artistic talent. that kinda passed on to me hence my crappiness with proportions. I can only draw things really awesome from reference- you know?

GIMP is a free downloadable alternative to Photoshop and Apophysis is a fractal explorer...

i try to be a musician - i've had 10 lessons on Bass then i had to stop for a while... i'm really not good with music scores.
My mums an accountant (no wonder she tries to get me to do well in math) and my dad doesn't have a career. he's retired early because of huntingtons.
reference images annoy me constantly - you can never find exactly what you're after.

Oooh... music scores are... I'm trying to learn to read music myself. It's not easy really. I have a guitar that I've had for 5 years... and I still don't know how to play... T_T XD Piano is no picnic either.
My dad is a vacuum/sewing machine repair dude and salesman, but would much rather do music full time... XD

gh, i know how you feel about the whole dissapearing act thing. it doesn't bother me so much. currently genny is second on the list. my friend is helping me make cosplays for the rozen maiden characters. we still have yet to figure out who's gonna play them all and it's gonna be even harder since she's left school...
... i wish i had a bass... the one i used for my 10 lessons was rented and mum can't really afford one with our trip to japan and all.
i have to make do with the bass on guitar hero 3. Soon I'll have guitar hero: world tour!!!

I really suck at sewing and shopping for materials! the only things i'm good at in relation to cosplay are organisation and ideas, which is why i like writing stories and drawing.. although the drawingsa never look as awesome as they do in my head... i guess it's kind of like having eyes too big for your stomach.. except having idea's too complex for you level of artistic abilities... yeah...
i wish i had a little sibling i could dress-up... sigh, so cute.. *imagines a little boy in a gothic aristocrat/lilita outfit*
oh, and i go to japan in april, although the early happy travel wishes are very much appreciated.
We're on the back-order list for world tour. i not all that good at GH3, i can do a bit of hard but i have to practice the songs over and over and over... it gets really annoying.
i think i'm up to the second set now.. besides the encore...of the first...

Well, I have an OLDER brother... XDD by 7 years. But, he'll still cosplay with me. XD And so does my mom. I have to force my dad.

oh, that reminds me - one of my friends had a dream about some of the FF7 characters crossdressing like loz, yazoo and kedaj in school girl outfits and genesis in a red leather mini shirt... so we made a list of all the FF guys we could (and really all square enix games) and designed some gorgeous outfits for them. some are simple, others are intricate. i have all the outfits done.. now i just need to put the characters in them
It's wierd with the new GH - medium is still medium but without the rush of notes. (with the exception of a few places) you can really hear where there should be another two or three notes. i haven't tried hard yet but i think it's lowered the difficulty ramp.
And i'll make sure to take lots of pics and load them up on deviant art.. or atleast supply the link to my photobucket account... or both... anyway - i forget if i mentioned this but i plan on going to Osaka, Kyoto, Harajuku, Akihabara, Shibuya and some place up in the mountains.. a real traditional styled town that i forget the name of...

I tried it in a store once... some guys were playing it and I took my turn on the guitar. They were doing some song on Hard.... and sucking real bad. XD 
I'm not too good with drums myself... and vocals? nothx.... XDD I'd totally embarrass myself. Though when we get Rock Band 2, my bro wants me to sing for that Disturbed song on there... cause... I can do that signature thing they do...
My brother? And... c-cross-dressing?!? Oooh boy. He accepts it... but I won't ever LET him do it! O_O 
I don't mind it when people do that. I mean, I crossplay... XDDD It's a little different it seems when guys do it I guess.

Indeed it is fun! I'm doing it all in order (with the exception of the vocals...) and I'm halfway through the bass gigs which is second on the list- followed by vocals and drums.
And I got that as a gift I wouldn't be surprised if that's all I got! It's nearly 300 bucks!!
I wish I could bewilder people with moosic skills... I have however played one of those random fighter games in a games, anime and sci-fi convention. I forget the name.. anyway I versed this guy I just met in the queue and I pressed these random buttons and he like "WHA?! How did you pull off an armour break? thayt's a really pro move!" and I was just paniking and said "I don't know! I'm just button mashing!!!"
Appanently I lost so often because i didn't set my HP up high enough. He had atleast twice as much HP as me and I nearly beat him. It would have been hilarious if he'd lost to a noob with half as much hp as him...
I was kind of turned off rock band. 
Well me and my friend (who comes from a religious family) are going to cosplay as the FF boys cressdressing as girls 
Well, we're going to be there in april so it'll be spring.. hopefully I can atleast buy some gackt/dir en grey/ miyavi stuff.
Actually, I don't know much about Miyavi except that he's gorgeous.. When I'm allowed to I'm going to get his double lip-piercings... purdy...
Although... if any of them are on tour I don't think I'll be coming home for a while... :sweat:
