Walt Disney may have been a bit of an asshole, but kudos to him for creating one of the most beloved cartoon characters: Mickey Mouse nΓ©e Steamboat Willie.

Fun fact: Mickey was originally going to be called Mortimer but Walt's wife didn't like the name, which was something they argued about a lot. They finally agreed on Mickey, with Mortimer becoming Mickey's rival.
