mmm maybe the eyes are a little smaller or something and that's why people think that? I honestly don't know. Either way I hated the Epic Mickey game but I always loved its art concept, and I think your rendition is pretty awesome. ^^

Finally a nice fanart of this guy! But here's a little note, if you don't mind. He looks like Sonic. Mainly because Mickey's nose is a little bit bigger, the mouth wider and the hands bulkier. The form of his head is also a little bit skewed to the left. You'll see it, if you flip the picture.
