aaaand another one. This is for ~Sjostrand of her character Jarod. His hair is too short cause I couldn't figure out how to make it longer at that angle and his head is too big BUT I DREW A REAL BACKGROUND!!! I am so in love with my tree.

Well, they ARE fun to draw when you can make them actually look like trees and not like weird cylinders with a few awkward limbs sticking out.

It looks like a 'caught in the moment,' like he's going to sigh and put down the sprig and walk off or slump against the tree and read or something.
The subtle color really adds a nice touch. I love the roots and the textured farmland quilt.

I love the background it complements the character very well. I wish I was better at drawing backgrounds!
