Description Still affiliating with the coloured pencils I have bought not so long ago. I still feel the "awwww colours, must use all the colours, moaaar colours" like I felt with the colorful tanuki, but as you can see, I managed some self-restriction.
Maybe I shouldn't let white on her legs, or fewer.

I tryed out aquarel paper, because the photo-copy paper I usually use is too smooth for these pencils. I'm content with the outcome: it was more easier to mix the colours.

Do you want some rat-on-a-stick?

Edit: I correcter the fur. Less white (light), so it is more natural.

Edit2: I tried to smooth the pencilwork...

This is really impressive! The level of detail you achieved is amazing. The polecat would be awesome enough, but you went and created accessories, a campfire complete with food roasting, and full scenery with other living creatures! Very impressive. The textures and shading look really wonderful, too. Great job keeping all the green foliage from looking flat or repetitive, and the polecat's fur texture is quite well done. Awww, and that happy smiling face!

I agree that less white on her legs would have been good. It doesn't look bad, just confusing, as the the broad white polecat marking on her face makes it so that the viewer has to guess what is highlighting and what is actual fur markings.

Overall, though, you have made a drawing worth being proud of. I really like it. Faving!

Thank you very much for the detailed judgement.

I took the opportunity to draw a little further, and I filled the white parts with some soft gradient and I upgraded the file.

Ooooh, that looks better! The highlighting is still very effective, but it looks more natural now.
