Description 11 by 11 inches watercolor on watercolor paper

The composition on this one gave me headaches. I finally realized that it helped the layout if the mother's body was not on the entire page, fitting it into the frame was too awkward, especially when I wanted the babies to be in the center stage.

Mixings the browns in this piece was fun, it took me a while to get them right.

I like the composition here. I think you made the right choice! The rich colors are really nice and I love the expression on the mother's face. I also like how one of the babies has its eyes open. So cute.
