Description Okay this is a continuation of some of my earlier work. This is the third water color I ever did. I like being able to go back now and see how I have changed, and developed over time. Sure there are a lot of things wrong with this, but what I took away from it has been indispensable.

Wow! This is my first time to encounter such proficient watercolor portraiture. Even if you mentioned that this is an older work, I really appreciate the chiaroscuro in this piece --which makes it stand out.

Feel free to drop by my gallery

I love the look Mess has, and when I saw this black and white photo of him I just knew I would have to use it as reference.

Speaking of looks... I love would you did with Al Pacino as Tony Montoya. Very cool.

Thanks for the Fav.

Until now, I never really appreciated watercolor. This would make an incredible cover for a magazine. I can't wait to see more!

Goodness.... the intensity in his eyes, the detail in his lips... the harsh white light along his jawline. Cripes, its all perfect. Its marvelous what you can do with watercolor, hon. Never doubt that. I absolutely love this piece.

Thanks. This was a little older, and I hope that I can take what I learned and apply it to some new stuff.

I like the sort of diagonal texture throughout the portrait. I don't find anything wrong with it, it's impressive to me.

Looks exactly like Mark, you've captured his menacing smile and expression. Excellent idea to go with the icey background. This would make a wonderful hockey card. Nice job! He's my childhood hero.

If that's the third watercolour painting you have ever done, then that's just unbelievable. Great expression and accuracy with a brush. Very atmospheric with the dark background emphasising the facial features.

wow, that is just incredible, how you captured each piece of stubble and hair on his head. And his expression is just too intense.
