Here's my MAR girlie, Manu! Manu goes back a loooooooong time; almost twelve years I think. In all that time she's never had a proper profile, so I think this has been long enough in the making lmao.

There's not much left of the MAR fandom these days, but there's more than I expected apparently, so thank you to everyone who's been asking me about MAR and Manu on Curiouscat; I'm not sure I'd have gotten this done without you guys.

AGE // 17 (entry to MAR Heaven) — 24 (Second War Games)
STATUS // Otherworlder, ex-Cross guard, shepherd
MAGIC SPECIALTY: the Love Of Iron // the ability to negate all magic at a touch, and to project a limited field of nullification out from her body. Manu cannot use ARMS at all; she breaks whatever magical artifacts she touches.
Hailing from the Otherworld, Manu was unexpectedly thrust into the War Games when the Gatekeeper Clown rolled a two on its die. Initially cursed with a total inability to use ARMs, Manu played a supporting role for the Cross Guards and worked her way into Alan's training routine and good graces, and eventually his bed. In the six-year interval between First and Second War Games, she left the Cross Guards, believing that Alan was dead, gave birth to his son in secret, and lived a simple life as a shepherd until the Chess Pieces returned. Eventually her curse was discovered to be a blessing in disguise; she possesses an extremely rare ability to nullify magic in all its forms. Following the Second War Games, she reunited with Alan, and her son met his father for the first time.
