I'm impressed how you've been able to mimic different anime styles!Β Could you do Ellis and Nadie from El Cazador de la Bruja?

Thank you! This style was about Leiji Matsumoto style from the 1970s, while the last oneΒ was on more contemporary Rumiko Takahashi style as seen in Inu Yasha. This style has been predominant since the 1980s, and I think Ellis and Nadie could as well fall into this range?

Actually, this one reminds me of Bee Train's Mireille from Noir with a narrower face.Β I followed Ranma 1/2 (manga, not anime) for a while, so I know Ms. Takahashi's style mostly from that.Β I'd say Ellis and Nadie were distinct from that style, especially in the eyes and face shape (Takahashi's having much rounder face, irises much rounder and larger, eyes much rounder and bigger, etc.), but I can see why you'd say they look the same.

Even in Japan they still call that the "Golden Ages" of Anime, though more referring to the 80s. ^^

Thank you! I am excited my Anime head could get all these different styles just by using morphs. This Anime face style is from the old 1970s. ^^

Thanks! I don't know if you know Leiji Matsumoto's Maetel character from Galaxy Express 999, but I was aiming for that old 1977 style in this character. ^^

Much closer to the early 80s style adult female face type.

Thanks! The face style was based on Dr. Chiren from the Battle Angel manga (1990), though we will find a similar style being used throughout the 1980s and 70s, like in Leiji Matsumoto's Captain Harlock (1953), Emeralda (Queen Emeraldas, 1978), and most remarkably in Maetel (Galaxy Express 999, 1977). I was trying to get that kinda style using this head. ^______^

Well, I suppose a few mangaka still use that style these days, but that is certainly a look of the past. Even Wikipedia refers to it as "vintage", but I think it has a charm of its own. ^_____^

Well it actually looks grown up. I swear some of the adult females on anime today have the same face as the teens. The difference being bigger boobs and little else.

As a reminder, Lupin III TV series was initially produced and directed by Hayao Miyasaki from Studio Ghibli - the Walt Disney of Japan, and in other Ghibli mainstream movies you will occasionally see random characters who look just like Lupin. Unfortunately, Miyasaki himself only directed the "Castle of Cagliostro" Lupin movie, but that didn't make them any less fun to watch.
Another fun fact was that Goemon Ishikawa (the samurai thief) actually existed in Japanese history, and so did inspector Koichi Zenigata, and Daisuke Jigen. Lupin was a fictitious character from France, though. In real history, when Goemon was finally caught and arrested, he was executed by being boiled in hot water. Ugh!

Yeah, the fact that he was based on someone else's IP, is why for many years they had to rename the character Rupan releases outside of Japan.
