Description Pheromondus is a female. The maximum height of females is 2.5 meters. Weight: 250 kg. That females, that males of pheromonduses, are rare representatives of the Kendaris fauna, and novologists still cannot determine to whom specifically to define a given species of creatures - to animals, or intelligent, but primitive races. Disputes are still ongoing. A distinctive feature of feramonduses is that they communicate with each other not through sounds, gestures or facial expressions, but through the means of smells. Individuals distinguish pheromones of various linguistic meaning, which are exhaled from the holes on the facial chitinous mask. With the help of such a language of aromas, the pheromondus can defend itself, inspiring the offender with all sorts of hallucinations due to the allocated special pheromones, or, on the contrary, cause panic horror. Naturally, this defense mechanism was not ignored. Poltors' novologists studied these creatures to the full, and were able to extract pheromones of various "calibers" from their bodies and use them in their scientific research. And thanks to this, medicine has made some progress, in particular, it turned out to create excellent anesthesia for operations, and a couple of three more drugs. But not everyone worked with Feramondus for the good of science. As it turned out, excellent drugs, aphrodisiacs, poisons, and much more can be created from their pheromones. Therefore, these creatures were actively hunted. As a result, the Feramonduses became catastrophically few, and they went into the interior of the mainland, closer to the Gidos ridge. Now, even if you meet Feramondus, it will be truly a miracle. Also, pheromonduses are very intelligent animals, quick-witted, they understand when a representative of an intelligent race is in front of them, and when just a beast. But given the persecution by poachers, the pheromonduses have become much more secretive and not gullible. These creatures live alone, roaming the forests, avoiding open spaces. They do not lead a territorial way of life, rather a wandering one, settling for months or years in one place, after which they set off on a journey to new territories. During the rut, females begin to have a very active sexual life, and this does not apply to males of her own species. On the contrary. The female tries to explore as many new lands as possible and meet travelers, represented by intelligent races. The female, diligently harass the man who caught her eye, even performs a mating dance (a very spectacular spectacle), presenting the “partner” with notable portions of pheromones, so that the “victim” does not resist, but on the contrary goes to meet the “adventures”. This behavior of the female is due to the fact that this is a kind of defense mechanism developed after the pheromonduses were almost exterminated. In order to avoid inbreeding, females thus collect the gene pool, accumulating semen from the males encountered, and then, having come into contact with the male, after mating, the female releases all the accumulated material into her uterus, along with the semen of the main father. (This approach to reproduction also causes a lot of controversy in the scientific council of novologists). Pheromondus are oviparous, caring mothers who single-handedly raise their offspring (in the person of one cub) until the age of 5, after which the little pheromondus begins to live independently. Omnivorous, not aggressive. They become aggressive only when they survive and flee after the attacks of hunters, such pheromonduses are called wounded. In females, the chitinous cover of the plates is not too closely docked to each other, so you can see bright scarlet skin between them, under which elastic muscle tissues stretch. Chitin, good protection, but not always saves from large-caliber bullets. Multiple shots can easily destroy the cover.
